University. The City of York Council is also a partner.
The partnership is currently looking for Higher Education students studying at two of it’s partner university and colleges - York College and York St John University - to join existing members of the Higher York Student Forum (HYSF).
As a member of the HYSF you will work with a small team of students from the other colleges and universities in
York to improve the student experience and promote studying in
York.
Examples of projects you might work on include; managing and developing the studentsYork website, creating a city-wide students newsletter and researching what current students really think about studying in
York.
You will be expected to work between four and eight hours a week during term time, with the hours of work being flexible to fit in around your studies and other commitments. The rate of pay is £7.02 per hour plus 78p per hour for annual leave. The post is offered on a casual basis from Autumn 2010 until 31 July 2011.
