The universities and colleges in York offer a range of Higher Education (HE) courses, at both undergraduate and post-graduate level.

Choosing the right HE course and university/college for you is an important decision which you should give considerable thought to. There are numerous places you can contact for information and advice about courses. Open days are also an excellent way to get a real feel for a particular course and institution.

Once you've decided on the HE course(s) you wish to study you need to start the application process. If this is your first application to HE the process may seem daunting, but there is plenty of help available.

We've put together some information sheets which provide more in-depth information about everything from applying and courses to finance, which may be of help if you are considering HE.
